Scott Haselkorn

Scott has been working with technology his entire professional carrier. At the age of twelve he started selling and repairing computer systems. This led him to his first employee position as a Network Installer for the town of Longmeadow installing a network in a new elementary school. After this employment ended he continued to grow his computer support business. Next Scott became a Phone Support Technician for JavaNet a local ISP based in Springfield, MA. His carrier at JavaNet continued to flourish. Shortly after JavaNet was purchased by RCN he was promoted to Commercial Customer Service.

The next move took him to Network Administration where he supported the Springfield, MA office call center containing approximately 650 workstations and 50 servers. RCN came on some troublesome times and the IT staff for the state of Massachusetts was decreased down to two from around fifty. Scott was selected to one of the remaining employees to run the entire state. Due to the closing of Springfield office Scott was laid off in 2004.

Unable to find work in the area recently hit with a large IT employer going out of business it seems logical to return to his passion of helping businesses with their IT needs and start YourDentalTech.com. Scott’s Father Dr. Mark Haselkorn, D.D.S. became his logical first customer. During Scott’s time at RCN he took time off to help his fathers practice transition to Digital Radiography and learned how difficult this transition must be for someone unfamiliar with IT or Dental and that his background in both gave him a great foundation to manage this project.

From there things grew to what exists today Haselkorn, Inc.
